DJ and I had so much fun this Christmas...in fact, I am pretty sure we had more fun than Dutch did! We loved seeing him play with all of his toys on Christmas morning. As usual, Christmas Day is a little chaotic for us, but always a good time since we get to spend it with our families. We were all worn out once we got home from our long day. Here are some shots from our first Christmas with Dutch.

Gearing up for the Holidays
With Christmas right around the corner, we thought we'd take some pics of Dutch in his Santa hat. It was hard to really get him to look at me and smile, but I managed to get some good ones. We are so ready for Christmas and cannot wait to spend it with family, especially because this is Dutch's First. We also cannot wait to see Meghan, DJ's sister, who is home for the week!

Thanksgiving 2008
We had a very busy weekend with the holiday. We started out on Thursday with DJ's family at Kathleen and Eddie's house. It was so nice to see everyone and Dutch got to spend some time with his twin cousins that are just a few months older than he is. After eating there, we headed to my parents house to visit and eat AGAIN! Dutch loves spending time with his older cousins - he just watches their every move, anxiously awaiting when he can get down in the floor and play with them.

Happy Six Months!!!
Our little man hit the six month mark this past Friday. It is amazing how much has changed since the day he was born! He has begun to get up on all fours, but cannot yet figure out how to move his arms or legs in order to get around.

Winter is almost here!
I cannot believe how fast this year has gone! I also cannot believe that Dutch will be six months at the end of this week. He is getting to be such a big boy and is becoming more independent every day. This past weekend, we went to AJ and Kelley's to watch the embarrassing Carolina game. Sarah, Brad and Bradley were also there, so Dutch had a playmate. He was probably envious of the fact that Bradley could cruise around...oh well, someday real soon he'll be doing the same. I pray that he waits until after the holidays, so my Christmas tree stays intact!
