To my wonderful sister - I cannot believe you are finally 18 years old. Gosh, that makes me feel really old!! It seems like yesterday, Mom announced she was pregnant and I was mad that I was no longer the baby! You have grown into a beautiful young girl and I'm so proud to call you my sister and one of my very best friends! I love you so much!!!

What comes with teething...

I know I mentioned in an earlier post that Dutch was teething...well, with that has come thumb-sucking and a new facial expression. The thumb-sucking is not all that surprising. DJ and I both sucked our thumbs and some of us, longer than we'd like to admit!!! I do love this new face...it must make his gums feel a little better!

Applesauce, Bananas, Pears, OH MY!!!

Dutch has really just started eating "solids" and although it can get messy, he seems to enjoy it! His favorite so far are the pears, although bananas aren't that far behind. He is still warming up to the applesauce! We will start him on the veggies this week and begin with peas. I hope he likes them nearly as much as the fruits.

Lazy Sundays

We had a very busy weekend, so we are enjoying our lazy Sunday. Dutch has been teething the last couple of weeks, so he is a little grumpy these days. I will be glad once that tooth decides to pop through! He also sat up for the first time this week and has really perfected it over the weekend. He is now able to sit up without falling over and without support (although we still are very cautious!) Here are some recent pics that we have taken of the little man!
