We love that beautiful Spring weather is here and we've been taking advantage of the warmer days by going to the lake when we get the chance.

Easter Cookout with Dennis

Sunday evening, Dennis came over for dinner. It was so nice seeing him and Dutch really enjoyed being outside and cruising around the yard while dinner was cooking. I got some really great shots of Dutch and Dennis!

Happy Easter!

Our Easter was filled with a day full of activities! We woke up to what the Easter Bunny had left for Dutch, played for a bit and then quickly hurried to get to church on time. After church, we went with my parents, sisters, Kirk & nephews to brunch and then to the Easter egg hunt at my parents house. It was a fun-filled day and needless to say, Dutch was so drained after our busy day!

Spring Has Sprung!

This past weekend, we spent most of our Sunday outside doing yardwork/playing before heading over to my parents for my birthday dinner.

Dutch spent most of the day playing on the steps of our front porch while DJ aerated the yard. Once we got to my parents, he spent the evening outside with his cousins playing on the see saw.

We are looking forward to warmer weather so we can have more days like this one. Today we are going to brunch with some of my high school girlfriends that are in town for Easter and hopefully we will go to the park for a few hours afterward. Tonight, DJ and I are hosting a shower for some friends of ours that are getting married at the end of the month, but tomorrow we will be celebrating Easter with my family. The Easter Bunny is on its way...

And a Day at the Lake!

When the days get longer and the temperature starts climbing, DJ is ready to get to the lake any chance he gets, so Dutch and I joined him one weekend in March and had a great time. Dutch enjoyed the sand, although most of it ended up in his mouth!
