Going, Going, Going, Gone!

Just this Wednesday, Dutch realized he can crawl. He has been wanting to do this for so long and it was to the point where he would get frustrated because he just couldn't get to where he wanted. Well, now he can. Each day, he gets a little faster and better at it. He has not figured out that he can actually crawl from room to room to get to where I am. It will only be a matter of time...

We love watching him change and grow each day! We are so blessed to have such a great baby!!!

Pics & video to come soon...

DJ's Weekend with Alligators...

This past weekend, DJ went to Sparkleberry with some friends for some fun. While there, they came across an alligator skull that is huge!! I had to post this just so you all could see this enormous thing. He also got some great pics of Bella enjoying her weekend.

Happy New Year!

This post is coming a little late, but after the holidays we just tried to take it easy and have not been doing much of anything. DJ and I spent our New Year's going to a nice dinner with friends and then drinks afterward. DJ's mom kept Dutch overnight for us, so we told ourselves we would come home right after the New Year to get some much needed rest...well, 3AM came quick!!! Needless to say, we partied like we were 21 again and definitely felt it the next day!

Dutch has been very busy these days. He really thinks he is bigger than he is and gets very frustrated when he cannot do what he wants. He has been trying to crawl, but at this point goes backwards and in circles. He would prefer to walk, but we are encouraging him to crawl first. He loves standing around the coffee table and tries to cruise around it as best he can. He also loves when someone holds his hands and he can walk around with assistance. We are going to have our hands full when he does take off!

Also over the holidays, our friends Jenna & Stephen came over with their little boy, Cash. Dutch and Cash are exactly one week apart. We rarely get to spend time with them because they live in Charleston, but it was great to have them over and allow the boys to "play."
